# Share Your Booking Page

> Get your booking link, QR code, and a Book Now website button, plus step-by-step guides for Google, social media, and more

## Introduction

Once you've enabled online booking, the next step is making sure clients can find your booking page. This guide covers every way to share your booking link — from a simple copy-paste to QR codes, a "Book Now" website button, and social media integration. You can point clients at your full page, link them straight to booking, or link to a specific service.

**In the app:** Open **Online booking** from the main sidebar (this page was previously called *Share*) to copy your link, download a QR code, and get a "Book Now" button — all in one place.

<Tip>
  Want to fine-tune how your booking page looks before you share it? Layout, brand colour, logo, and section order are all in [Online booking settings](/settings/online-booking).
</Tip>

## Finding your booking URL

Your booking URL is available in several places:

1. **Online booking page** — The dedicated hub for sharing and integration, in the main sidebar. Copy your link, download a QR code, and get a "Book Now" button. It also shows booking-page analytics — visits, conversion, your booking funnel, and traffic sources — so you can see how well your page turns visitors into bookings. See [Online booking analytics](/online-booking/analytics).
2. **Dashboard** — Your booking URL is displayed at the top of the dashboard with a copy button.
3. **[Online booking settings](/settings/online-booking)** — Your booking page configuration and branding, with a shortcut across to the Online booking page.
4. **Command palette** — Open it (Cmd/Ctrl + K) and search for "booking link", "share", or "QR" to jump straight there.

***

## Two ways to link

The **Online booking** page shows both booking links — copy whichever suits where you're sharing it:

* **Your full page** — opens your landing page: your intro, services, and any sections you've turned on (team, gallery, reviews, and more). Best when the link is a client's first impression of your business.
* **Straight to booking** — skips the landing page and drops clients directly into the booking steps (choose a service, time, and confirm). Best when you already have your own website or social profile and just want clients to book. This link simply adds `/booking` to the end, for example `https://booking.bellabooking.com/your-business/booking`.

<Tip>
  Both links always work — "Straight to booking" just saves clients a step when they already know they want to book with you. Use the full-page link where clients are discovering you (Google, social bios), and the straight-to-booking link for a "Book Now" button on your own website.

## Link to a specific service

You can share a link that points a client at one particular service. It opens your booking page scrolled to that service and highlights it, ready for the client to select — perfect for a "Book your \[treatment]" call to action.

**How to get it:**

1. Open **Catalogue → Services** from the sidebar
2. Find the service and open its **⋯** menu
3. Choose **Copy booking link**

Paste it into a message, a service description on your website, or a social post about that treatment. The option appears for any service you offer online.

***

## Link to a category

You can also link to a whole category — the link opens your booking page scrolled to that category's section with all its services in view. Great when you're promoting a range rather than one treatment ("Explore our massages").

**How to get it:**

1. Open **Catalogue → Services** from the sidebar
2. On the category header, open the **Actions** menu
3. Choose **Copy booking link**

The option appears for any category with at least one service offered online.

## Client booking portal link

Not every link is about booking. Your clients also have their **own area** on your booking page — the booking portal — where they set up and update their own details, save a card, and see their appointments, forms, receipts and gift cards.

The link is your booking URL with `/profile` on the end, for example `https://booking.bellabooking.com/your-business/profile`. **No booking is involved.** A client who isn't signed in is asked for their phone number first and then lands on their details — a brand-new client sets up their account right there, and an existing client simply confirms their number. Either way, one link works for everyone.

**How to get it:**

* **For all clients** — open the **Online booking** page and copy the link under **Client booking portal**. Good for signage, your newsletter, or an email footer.

* **For one client** — open the **Clients** page, find the client, and use their **⋯** menu:
  * **Copy booking portal link** — copies the link so you can paste it wherever you like.
  * **Send booking portal link** — opens a message to that client with the link already written in. Edit the wording however you like before sending it by SMS or email. This one needs [Messages Plus](/settings/messaging).

* **For a group of clients** — tick them on the **Clients** list and choose **Send booking portal link** from the bar that appears. It opens the campaign builder with those clients as the recipients and the invitation already written, ready for you to adjust and send. Handy straight after importing your client list.

The same **⋯** menu also has **Copy add-a-card link** and **Send add-a-card link**, which take the client to the **Payment methods** page of the same portal to save a card.

<Tip>
  A portal invitation starts as an **Announcement** rather than a Marketing campaign, which is the right fit for an account invitation — announcements reach every client who hasn't opted out, where marketing only reaches those who've explicitly opted in. You can still change the type on the Recipients step if you need to.
</Tip>

<Note>
  Signing in uses the client's **mobile number** — they receive a code by text. A client with no mobile number on file won't be able to get in, so add one to their record first.

## QR code

A QR code lets clients scan and open your booking page instantly — perfect for physical locations.

**Where to use it:**

* Reception desk or front counter
* Business cards
* Window signage or A-frame signs
* Flyers and promotional materials
* Price lists and menus

**How to get it:**

1. Open the **Online booking** page from the sidebar
2. Your QR code is generated automatically
3. Under **Scans open**, choose where the code should take people
4. Click **Download PNG** to save a high-resolution image with your business name

The downloaded image includes your business name and a matching "Scan to…" line, ready for print.

### Point the code at one section

By default the code opens your full booking page. You can also send scans straight to a single
section, which is useful when the code is going on something specific — a membership flyer, a gift
card display, a retail shelf talker:

| Scans open | Where it lands |
| ------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Booking page | Your landing page — intro, services, and any sections you've turned on |
| Book now — straight to services | The booking steps, skipping the landing page |
| Memberships | Your membership plans, ready to join |
| Prepaid packages | Your packages, ready to buy |
| Gift cards | Gift card purchase |
| Shop products | Your product shop |

A section only appears in the list when it's live on your booking page:

* **Memberships** and **Prepaid packages** need at least one plan or package that is **Active**
  *and* has **Allow online purchase** switched on.
* **Shop products** needs at least one product marked **Available online**, in stock if you track
  inventory, and offered through a fulfilment mode your shop supports.

Until then there's nothing for a client to buy, so the section is hidden on your booking page and
isn't offered here.

<Note>
  Each location has its own booking page, so each has its own QR code. Switch location in the
  sidebar before downloading to get that location's code.

## Add to your website

### Simple link

The easiest approach — add a "Book Now" link anywhere on your website that points to your booking URL.

### HTML button

For a styled button, the Online booking page provides a ready-to-use HTML snippet:

```html theme={null}
<a href="YOUR_BOOKING_URL" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"
   style="display:inline-block;padding:12px 24px;background-color:#4F46E5;color:#ffffff;font-family:system-ui,-apple-system,sans-serif;font-size:16px;font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;border-radius:8px;">
  Book Now
</a>
```

Copy this from the Online booking page (it includes your actual booking URL) and paste it into your website's HTML.

### Tips

* Place the button prominently — ideally visible without scrolling
* Add it to multiple pages: homepage, services page, contact page
* If you have a services page, consider linking each service description to your booking page

## Email signature

Add a booking link to your email signature so every email reminds clients they can book online:

```
Book online: YOUR_BOOKING_URL
```

Copy this from the Online booking page (it includes your actual URL) and add it to your email signature settings.

**Where to add it:**

* Gmail: Settings → See all settings → General → Signature
* Outlook: Settings → View all Outlook settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature

***

## SMS and text messages

When texting clients, include your booking link:

> "Thanks for visiting! Book your next appointment online anytime: YOUR\_BOOKING\_URL"

***

## Print materials

Include your booking URL or QR code on:

* Business cards
* Appointment cards
* Price lists and menus
* Window signage
* Flyers and brochures
* Loyalty cards

**Tip:** A QR code is often more practical on print materials than a long URL. Download yours from the Online booking page.

## FAQs

**Q: Where do I find my booking URL?**
A: The quickest way is the **Online booking** page (in the main sidebar, or via the command palette). It's also shown in [Online booking settings](/settings/online-booking) and at the top of your dashboard.

**Q: Can I customise my booking URL?**
A: Your booking URL is automatically generated based on your business name. Contact support if you need to change it.

**Q: Can I send clients straight to booking without my landing page?**
A: Yes. On the **Online booking** page, copy the **Straight to booking** link — it opens the booking steps directly and skips your landing page. It's the same booking page, just with `/booking` on the end. This is handy when you already have your own website or social profile and simply want a "Book Now" link.

**Q: Can I link to a specific service?**
A: Yes. On the **Services** page, open a service's **⋯** menu and choose **Copy booking link**. The link opens your booking page scrolled to that service and highlights it, ready for the client to select. See [Link to a Specific Service](#link-to-a-specific-service) above.

**Q: Can I link to a whole category?**
A: Yes. On the **Services** page, open the category header's **Actions** menu and choose **Copy booking link**. The link opens your booking page scrolled to that category's section. See [Link to a Category](#link-to-a-category) above.

**Q: Can I send a client a link to set up their own profile, without them making a booking?**
A: Yes. Every client has their own area on your booking page — the booking portal — at your booking URL with `/profile` on the end. Open the **Clients** page, find the client, and use their **⋯** menu: **Copy booking portal link**, or **Send booking portal link** to send it as a message you can edit first ([Messages Plus](/settings/messaging)). There's a link for all clients on the **Online booking** page too. See [Client Booking Portal Link](#client-booking-portal-link) above.

**Q: My regulars are already booked in — do they still need to make a booking to get an account?**
A: No. Send them the booking portal link and they'll be asked for their phone number, then a code by text. Existing clients on your list are recognised from their number, so their details are already filled in — they just confirm and they're in. Nothing about their existing appointments changes.

**Q: Why does my booking link end in `.com.au` (or `.com`)?**
A: Your booking link uses the domain that matches your business's country. **Australian businesses** get a **`.com.au`** booking link; businesses elsewhere get a **`.com`** link. Bella picks the right one automatically from your business's country setting — you don't need to do anything. Always share the link exactly as it appears on the **Online booking** page (and in your QR code and embed code), and it'll point to the correct domain for your business.

**Q: Does the QR code update if my URL changes?**
A: Yes. If your URL changes, download a new QR code from the Online booking page. Previously printed QR codes will no longer work.

**Q: Can I have a QR code that goes straight to my memberships?**
A: Yes. On the **Online booking** page, set **Scans open** to **Memberships** before you download. The same works for packages, gift cards and your product shop. See [Point the code at one section](#point-the-code-at-one-section) above.

**Q: Why isn't Memberships (or Packages, or Shop products) offered as a QR destination?**
A: Because that section isn't live on your booking page yet. Memberships and packages only appear once at least one plan or package is **Active** *and* has **Allow online purchase** switched on — both toggles, and they're set separately on the plan. Your shop only appears once at least one product is **Available online**, in stock if you track inventory, and offered through a fulfilment mode your shop supports. The section stays hidden until there's something a client can actually buy, so nobody scans through to an empty page. Your Online booking page flags this for you when it applies.

**Q: Do I need a Google Business Profile?**
A: It's not required, but it's highly recommended. Many clients find local businesses through Google Search, and a booking link there makes it easy for them to book directly.
