## What's Included in Your Plan

### Team Member Limit

Solo and Starter plans include a set number of team members; Professional and Multi-Location Professional are unlimited. Two things decide whether someone counts:

* **The limit applies per location.** On a multi-location plan, each location gets the full allowance — a team member added at two locations uses one spot at each.
* **Only team members who take appointments count.** A team member counts if they appear on the scheduler **or** clients can book them online. Someone who is *both* hidden from the scheduler *and* not bookable online — a receptionist, manager or bookkeeper — doesn't count towards the limit, so you can add as many of those as you need, even when your plan is full. Both settings are on the **Add team member** form: turn **Hide from scheduler** on and **Online booking enabled** off as you add them. Archived team members never count.

To free up a spot, either archive a team member, or edit one who doesn't take appointments and turn **Online booking enabled** off and **Hide from scheduler** on. When your plan is full, the **Add team member** form says so and lets you save only someone with both of those settings — anyone who takes appointments needs an upgrade or a freed spot first.

### SMS Allowance

Every subscription plan includes a monthly allowance of SMS messages, which resets at the start of each billing period. The exact number depends on your plan and is shown live — as **Remaining / Limit** — on **Settings → Messaging** and on **Settings → Automated messages**, so you always see your current allowance and how much you've used.

* **Trial:** the Trial plan includes 30 SMS per month.
* **Multi-location plans:** your per-location allowance is multiplied by the number of locations on your plan.

If you need more than your plan includes, you can top up with an SMS credit pack (below) at any time.

### Email

Email notifications are **not metered** — there's no monthly cap on emails, so appointment reminders, confirmations and other email messages send without using any allowance.

## SMS Credit Packs

If you reach your monthly SMS limit, you can purchase additional SMS credit packs.

Pack sizes and prices are shown live in **Settings → Messaging** (and on the public [pricing page](https://bellabooking.com/pricing)) in your business currency — typically three one-time packs (around 200 / 500 / 1,000 credits). Prices come from Stripe and can change; always confirm the figure shown at purchase.

* **Availability**: Anytime from **Settings** → **Messaging**
* **Usage**: Credits are added immediately and do not expire
* **Auto-top-up**: Optional — charges your saved card for your chosen pack when both your monthly allowance and additional credits are exhausted

**How to Purchase:**

1. Go to **Settings** → **Messaging**
2. Find the SMS credits section
3. Select your preferred credit pack
4. Complete payment through Stripe

**Note:** SMS credit packs are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Your plan's included SMS allowance resets each billing period.
