Introduction
Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is one of the most valuable places to add your booking link. When clients search for your salon on Google or browse Google Maps, they’ll see a direct link to book — no extra steps required. This guide walks through the setup process step by step.Prerequisites
Before you start, you’ll need:- A Google Business Profile for your business (if you don’t have one, create one here)
- Your Bella Booking URL (find it on the Share page in the app)
- Access to the Google account that manages your business listing
Note: Google occasionally updates the Business Profile interface. The exact navigation may look slightly different depending on whether you access GBP from business.google.com, Google Search, or Google Maps. The field you’re looking for is typically called “Appointment URL” or “Booking link”.
Step-by-Step Setup
Go to Google Business Profile Manager
Visit business.google.com and sign in with the Google account that manages your business.
Select your business
If you manage multiple business listings, select the one you want to add the booking link to.
Open Edit Profile
Click Edit Profile from the main dashboard. This opens your business information editor.
Go to the Contact tab
In the Edit Profile view, select the Contact tab. This is where you manage phone numbers, website, and booking links.
Add your booking URL
Look for the Appointment URL field (it may also be labelled “Booking link” or “Appointment link”). Paste your Bella Booking URL into this field.Tip: Copy your booking URL from the Share page in Bella Booking to ensure accuracy.
Verifying It Works
After saving, check that your booking link appears correctly:- Search for your business name on Google
- Look for your Google Business Profile panel on the right side
- You should see a Book or Book online link/button
- Click it to confirm it opens your Bella Booking page
Troubleshooting
The booking link doesn’t appear- Wait 24 hours — Google can take time to process changes
- Verify you saved the URL in the Appointment URL field specifically, not the general website field
- Make sure your Google Business Profile is verified and published
- Double-check the URL you pasted matches your booking URL exactly
- Copy the URL fresh from the Share page in Bella Booking
- This field is available for most business categories in Google Business Profile
- If your business category doesn’t show this field, you can add your booking URL to the Website field instead
