Bella Booking is a Progressive Web App (PWA) - you can install it on your phone/mobile/cell or tablet for app-like access without downloading from an app store.
A Progressive Web App lets you install Bella Booking directly from your browser onto your device’s home screen. It looks and feels like a native app - with its own icon, full-screen view, and faster loading - but doesn’t require an app store download.
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
Scroll down in the menu - look for Install app or Add to Home Screen
Tap Install to confirm
The Bella Booking icon will appear on your home screen and in your app drawer.
The Install app or Add to Home Screen option is often hidden further
down Chrome’s menu. You may need to scroll past items like Bookmarks, History,
and Downloads to find it.
You may also see an automatic install banner at the bottom of the screen after
using the app for a moment - tap Install if it appears.
Bella Booking needs an internet connection. Your calendar, clients, sales and payments always come from Bella Booking’s servers, never from a copy saved on your device.The app’s code, styles and images are saved on your device the first time you open it, so it starts quickly after that.Without a connection, in the installed app or a browser tab:
Opening Bella Booking or going to another page: an offline page appears with a Try again button. It reloads by itself when the connection comes back.
Already in the app when the connection drops: an amber You’re offline banner shows at the top of the screen.
The offline page needs Bella Booking to have been opened once on that device while online.
Bella Booking checks for a new version every minute while it’s open. When one is ready, an Update available button appears in the top bar: a refresh icon on a phone, Update on a tablet. Tap it to load the new version. When there are release notes, they show first under What’s new, with a Reload to update button.
Q: Is the PWA the same as the website?
A: Yes - it’s the same Bella Booking app, but installed on your device for quicker access and an app-like experience.Q: Does it use storage on my phone?
A: A little. Bella Booking saves its own app files on your device, about 25 MB, so it opens quickly. Your appointments, clients and payments always come from Bella Booking’s servers.Q: Is there a native iPhone or Android app?

A: Tap the download or export button as usual, including Download on a client’s file or photo. In the installed app it opens the share sheet: tap Save Image to keep a picture in Photos, or Save to Files for a spreadsheet or other file. If the file takes more than a few seconds to prepare, a Your file is ready message appears instead: tap Save to open the share sheet.Q: Can my team members install it too?
