Introduction

The Loyalty settings page configures your points-based loyalty programme for the current location: Active/Paused status, points per dollar, expiration, and the rewards catalogue. Loyalty is a location-level setting — configure it separately for each location. For earning, redemption, and client self-service detail, see Loyalty programme.

Accessing Loyalty settings

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar
  2. Click Loyalty programme (under the location settings group)
Access: typically Owners and Admins (Manage settings). Needs a plan that includes loyalty/referrals.

Enabling the programme

  1. Add at least one active reward (see below)
  2. In the Programme row, change status from Paused to Active
  3. Save changes
You need at least one active reward before the programme can be switched on — otherwise clients would earn points with nothing to redeem. If every reward is archived, restore one or add a new one. When paused:
  • Clients keep their existing points balance
  • No new points are earned on checkout
  • Rewards cannot be redeemed
  • Expiration notifications are not sent

Earning rules

Set Points per dollar spent (accepted range 0.01 to 100). Points are always rounded down. This rate is the business-wide default. You can override the earn rate on individual services (for example double points on premium treatments, or zero on gift cards) from the service editor — see Loyalty programme.

Points expiration

Choose 6, 12, or 24 months, or set points to never expire. Automated messages can notify clients before points expire — see Automated messages.

Rewards catalogue

Create up to 20 rewards with a name, point cost, and dollar-off discount value. Clients redeem a reward at checkout for that discount. Archive rewards you no longer offer — archived rewards stop appearing for new redemptions; history is kept.
